perhaps we were here for such a time as this

For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” Esther 4:14

the book of Esther is a book of the Bible that actually never mentions God once, but it’s so obvious of His presence throughout it! (if you haven’t read it I HIGHLY recommend) Esther 4:14, for context, is spoken to Esther by Mordecai when Esther is faced with a hard decision, to protect the jews or be executed. Esther chose to trust God and His plan for her and that turned out to work in her favor (who would have thought!!🤭)! Esther is a symbol of bravery, obedience, trust, and faith!

God puts us all on this earth at a specific time for a specific purpose! He uses us to enact change within others as well as ourselves! there is always a reason for the situation you’re in no matter how good or bad it may be. like Esther, have faith in God and His character! know that He is working all things for good! never doubt His plan because it is perfect!

next time you’re questioning why you’re in a certain situation go back to Esther 4:14 and remember that you’re always in that situation for a reason🤍
