relationship over religion

as we enter holy week and begin to make preparations for Easter celebrations it’s easy to forget the reason we even celebrate. no… it’s not for Peter Rabbit, good food, or egg hunts. it is because He is risen and It is finished!

Jesus died for us so that we may return to Him in Heaven. He loves us so much that He was willing to sacrifice Himself to save us! That is LOVE. All He asks of us is to live by His word and have a RELATIONSHIP with Him.

He gave us free-will so that we may make the choice ourselves to worship and love Him. All He wants is to be our friend. He is the one we should turn to in times of trouble. He is the one we should love above all else. He is the one who we should talk about our day to. He is the one. He is our friend. Make the choice every day to be a friend of God.
